Having done many voice-overs and remixes of popular songs, his music appeals
to a wide audience.
He currently resides in Gwaenysgor, wales, where he has gathered quite a following
among the local populas.
A precise definition for his musical genre is discussed by fans and the specialized press alike, often discounting the influences of the his music and the composition of his songs. The lyrics of his songs are often of a simplistic nature, dealing with the subjects of love and personal struggle.
During 2007, Alexander Clarke recorded and self-produced his first EP, Clappin Clarke's, in his own recording studio. In 2008 his music evolved from the more melodramic state to a more punk-rock one, this change was largely influenced by his use of guitars, as well as his traditional keyboards, in his music. In 2008, Clappin Clarke's was released. Clappin Clarke's allowed Alexander to break out of the underground scene and led him to acquire a more open acceptance by followers of his genre.
In light of current controversy, Alexander Clarke made a formal press statement, saying "Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent.".
He goes on the say "I make my music for the benefit of all, that all may be inspired, inspired to achieve, a greater state of consciousness."
Though controversy remains over his use of Christian-like elements in his music,
it is disputed that this does not relate to his ethical beliefs, but more to a deeper understanding of how music can be utilized to invigorate and enlighten the human consciousness.
