In 2006 they began work on their first full length studio album, "Move the Fader," and focused on creating a more diverse and developed sound than was present in their previous work. Recording the album spanned three years and four states. It contains eight new tracks, in addition to new versions of three songs that previously appeared on "Siren Songs" (Kicked You Out the Door, Fifth Wheel, and Way Out West).
The band's most notable influences include Whiskeytown, Uncle Tupelo, The Old 97's, The Refreshments, Built to Spill, and Blind Melon. While the band is chiefly comprised of Doug Holmes and Dan Maynard, live shows feature a rotating lineup of musicians including Ryan Murphy (drummer, formerly of 'Stroma'), and Nathan Hobbs (bassist, drummer of 'Living Faux').
