Juxtaposing samples of machinery from his fathers workshop, voicemails from his mom, new hardware synths, desperate screams and pummeling beats, Confines has evolved his sonic palette in a way that's both nostalgic and cold without letting his ear wander too far from the dance floor which gave the project it's purpose.
Started in a practice space in March while the world was shutting down and finally finished in October after countless setbacks. These tracks are the soundtrack to Dystopia, USA filtered through the artists' feelings of longing, sadness, violence and hope.
2) Raw, degenerate hardcore that seethes with frustration and disaffection. Combining noise and thought, Confines songwriting is an unrelenting, full-throated scream of defiance. The band consists of names likely to be familiar to fans of Boston hardcore, including members of Cut the Shit, Brain Killer, Social Circkle, Blank Stare, and Failures.
