DJ Artz born in Adana, Turkey on 1989. He first met with the culture of Hip-Hop by his cousin. In this time he influenced by tunes of nu-metal to even classical music but the biggest inspration was the producer/DJ of Linkin Park, DJ Joseph Hahn and the legendary Dr. Dre album; “Chronic - 2001”.
He went to Philadelphia, PA on 2006 as a Turkish exchange student and lived there about a year. The ecenomic conditions for an amateur musician was much better than Turkey, so PA was the place where the dream come true, DJing.

Artz was the his old tag name when he was interested in graffiti in high school years, than it became a stage name.
When he turned back to Turkey, he got into beatmaking with the helps of Fonetik and worked with artists like: Viro The Virus, Side Effect, Sayedar, Farazi, Sybra Azazil, Sansar Salvo, Orkun, Dinamit, Mafsal, Rapozof, Yunus Emre, Xir Gökdeniz, Fonetik, Jawnzap7 & Rashness.
DJ Artz also performed in important Hip-Hop events around Turkey such as:
