DPR
Danny Pease and the Regulators (DPR) have been together with their most recent lineup since March of 2011. Composed of musicians with ranging backgrounds, their style of "Dirty Punk Reggae" continues to morph and take shape... While always staying true to reggae roots and ska rhythms. With their roots in Western Mass., they have steadily been scouring the Northeast and impressing newcomers with high energy and uplifting shows.     FU: The best ALL AGES venue in portland - it's new, it's the Factory Underground

    Let's start with the bad : they're north.. Wicked North.Everything else at the Factory Underground is pandas and puppies and fireworks and punk rock rainbows - this place is awesome.. Bands, coffee, cute girls running an art gallery that doesn't suck (really -it doesn't suck!), a half-pipe(?!),I grew up in small towns(s) midwest and if we weren't getting kicked out of wall-mart (the intercom is [*]+[0]+[3] by-the-way), we were sitting at Denny's, chain smoking, drinking coffee and talking about opening up the coolest place in the universe...some sort of punk rock coffee shop with half-pipes and all of our favorite bands.. It's pretty crazy just how closely the Factory Underground resembles everything i ever wanted out of being a trapped in teenager in the boring ass madwest.

    Laura Stevenson and the Cans download : live on UP Underground

    So, this is not Ben but rather pc-pdx, the entity.I wanted to share my love of Laura so consider this hijacked.. When she first played the coop on day one of Resistance Fest Northwest she was there as extension of Bomb The Music Industy! (naturally) and i had never heard her own stuff.. She basically kicked ass and owned it, hard.. I couldn't wait to see her again but i've managed to be out of town for both times she's been through in the two years since the Coop days.Here's where Ben comes into the picture because he has a neat radio show where he gets to bring in rad people like Laura, interview them and have them play a studio session.Ben has packaged up a nice zip of the show which we are hosting (mediefire is evil), grab it!download Laura Stevens and The cans live on KDUPVisit Ben and keep tabs on his projects athttp://upunderground.wordpress.com/

    ryan remains Anyone looking for an Upright Bass? 3/4 Palatino, used - adjustable bridge w/ some rock and roll "art" on the body. Comes w/ bow, hard case, and Fishman BP100 Pickup - all for $800.
