Before settling in Nashville, Jonni frequented the stages of southern Alabama and Pensacola, Florida. Jonni also performed in Chicago and at events like Cornerstone and has had several small projects and collaborations, including Jonni Greth & the Drones and Jonni Greth & the Rock Bottoms.

Jonni Greth is a primarily acoustic-driven folk artist who resides in Nashville, Tennessee, after spending much of her life living along the Eastern Gulf Coast.
Before settling in Nashville, Jonni frequented the stages of southern Alabama and Pensacola, Florida. Jonni also performed in Chicago and at events like Cornerstone and has had several small projects and collaborations, including Jonni Greth & the Drones and Jonni Greth & the Rock Bottoms. Drawing inspiration from prolific lyricists such as Leonard Cohen, Lou Reed/The Velvet Underground, and Bill Mallonee, she has developed a unique yet intense lyrical style complemented by intricate guitar work.
While living in Foley, Alabama, Jonni joined Andrew Hynes and Nel Gatlin as the bassist for the indie rock band The Ids in 2012.
Throughout her career, Jonni has released several albums, including "My God! My God!" in 2012, "All You Get for Now" in 2017, and "We Are Just Like You" in 2020, the latter produced in collaboration with her band Village Geniuses.
Jonni is an active DJ, hosting shows on Nashville's WXNA 101.5 FM station. You can catch her spinning tracks for "Jonni Downer's Unlistenable Hour" every Sunday at 9C and contributing to "Punk Not Punks".
