When the original core of the stereophonic collective known as LUMiROVA first launched their experiments in sonic mysticism, founding members Ween C. (vocals, short wave manipulation), Evan Haros (guitar, analog synthesis), Scott Zwiezen (low frequencies, digital coloring), were all American ex-patriots living in the post-communist city of Prague, CZ. They had early success in studio sessions with noted Czech electronic pioneer Jan Vozary. These sessions helped establish a link between the physical properties of music and the intangible vistas of expanded consciousness. For the next phase of aural exploration, it was decided a paradigm shift was necessary to continue the dynamic nature of their experiments, so Lumirova relocated to Los Angeles. Lumirova reflects the blending of earlier European discoveries with the unique harmonic perspective of Southern California.
