For every fuzz pop, garage rock crop of “alt kids” wearing fancy clothes but shying away from actual cheap thrills, there’s a band like Parakeet, with ‘Tomorrow’’s sky-reaching guitar licks and ‘Paper, Scissors, Stone’’s sharp-witted, hungover state of haziness. Check out the recently unveiled video for the latter; as pretty shapes fight for focus with gorgeous, grand landscapes."
