1. The Fool was a Dutch art collective and psychedelic folk pop band in the late 1960s. They created costumes and artwork for artists of global fame, including The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Cream and The Hollies, but also recorded music, notably a full-length album entitled The Fool (1969), which Graham Nash produced. The group's roster included Simon 'Seemon' Posthuma, Marijke Koger, Josje Leeger and Barry Finch (the sole Brit in the band). Posthuma and Koger also recorded as Seemon & Marijke.

2011 saw the release of a compilation CD entitled Psychedelic Folk Essentials. Simon Posthuma's son, Douwe Bob, is now a successful singer-songwriter in The Netherlands. Simon and Douwe Bob feature in a father/son documentary entitled 'Whatever Forever' (2013).
2.The Fool are a Japanese visual electro punk band that started in 2009. Personnel: G (vox, programming), Goo (guitar, programming) and TACA (guitar, programming). They released two EP's (Hydra in 2009 and Go Motherfucker in 2010) and one full-length album, Crazy Frogds Around the World (2010).
