The Scissors are a Cambridge-based four piece psych/freakbeat/post-punk combo.
2008’s gigs included slots supporting Glasvegas, Hijak Oscar, Make Model and The Corrections; plus gigs with a number of local favourites such as CosyCosy and Delphi.
2009 saw the Scissors play with ex-Kook Max Rafferty, James McCartney (son of Sir Paul) and compete in the prestigious Grand Final of the Cambridge Band Competition 2009 at Cambridge Corn Exchange. Other highlights included well-received London gigs at The Dublin Castle and The Enterprise in Camden
