Transient
Transient names at least six musical entities. 1) Transient are a melodic hardcore band from Greenville, SC, United States. Forming in the fall of 2010, they started to gain recognition with their debut EP Alone, promoting their own brand of passionate modern hardcore, with strong and ambient melodic guitar riffs. They have released 2 EP's to date, Alone, a 5 song EP in May 2011, and their latest release We Do Not Lose Heart, a 3 song EP in March 2012. Both of these EP's can be downloaded from the bands Bandcamp page, with a donation scheme implemented for both. Read more about Transient on Last.fm.

    Bad Times' Best New Bands of 2009

    This is my own list and has no connection to the current poll.. I have disqualified bands I know have existed prior to 2008, including some of my favorites such as Here Comes A Big Black Cloud, Popitilopitilus, Mattress, and Magic Johnson, all of whom I guess I’m giving props to right now.1.. Stag BittenHardcore, punk, whatever.. Stag Bitten always brings it.

    PDX Pop Now! 2010 Compilation Track Listing

    Portland music fans will be pleased to find out that PDX Pop Now! has announced the track listing for the sixth installment of their much heralded compilation.. The 2-disc set is stacked with 40 tracks from some of Portland OR's finest musicians, including previously unreleased tracks from Menomena, Talkdemonic, Dharma Bums, Blitzen Trapper, and more.. Deelay Ceelay, Tope, The Angry Orts and The Great Mundane have been tapped to perform at this year's CD Release Benefit which will be held June 3rd at Holocene (1001 SE Morrison St.). The cover is $10 and that will include a copy of the 2010 PDX Pop Now!. Compilation CD.

    Transient in head on collision - needs your help in getting home and for medical bills!

    On their way to Savannah, Georgia yesterday, Transient was in a head on collision when an SUV flew over the medium and landed on them.. Krysta had to be airlifted to the hospital.. We are all relieved that they are alive and doing ok.. Krysta had to have surgery on her wrist and her hip put back into place.

    Transient Benefit Shows!

    In case you missed the post directly below this one, awesome PDX band (but you know that already) Transient got roughed up and needs some community love..
