We have rad people hosting a benefit show for us and we need your awesome band to play. It's a bit of a departure for us in that it's a 21+ show and we've never done anything not all-ages. These people are rad though and approached us with the idea and the Show-Guide is in no position to deny awesome people giving this operation some love.

SO
If your band can draw a few people out to a bar on Friday, September 30th - please comment or email and let's hang out!
September is the time where we have to pony up the majority of the ~$1200 it will take to keep us afloat for another year.

Thanks to everybody for your support - 21+, mark your calendars!.
ALL AGES: somebody throw a house party for us! WE LOVE YOU.

    For as many people use this site - it should be pretty reasonable to raise $$ to keep the Guide alive in just a few shows.
    Please help us out and let us at least know you're out there or fuck, this thing is going to be covered in ads for Rockstar energy drink and shit.

  2. hey! is there a place where one can send donations to the guide? adding a way to donate online would be fucking rad - i'd throw down a dollar or twenty and i bet a bunch of other peoples would also.

    There has been a donation button in the footer since we launched this version. A few people have pointed out that the info-slider covers it up and i haven't ever done anything about that...
    I will do some shuffling to clean some things up and make the donate button a little more visible for at least the next few weeks.
    Seriously - anybody who can, please toss out a few bucks as we need to drop several large bills in the next month to keep this site going for another year. THANKS!

  4. aha! i figured it had to be somewhere, but holymoly is it NOT obvious - move that thing and then we can harness the power of social networking. the offer holds on helping find bands also.

    East End is rad and we love them for their support but low and behold - dani + crew were getting together another benefit show for the same night!
