Lekaa Swidan was an early bloomer. Born in Alexandria in 1974 to a Lebanese father and an Egyptian mother, at eight years old she landed a role in the television series Huwwa Wa Heyya (Him and Her), starring Soad Hosni and Ahmed Zaki. Later she was given a part in the espionage show Raafat Al-Haggan starring Mahmoud Abdel-Aziz, and the Ramadan show Alam Waraq Waraq (Paper, Paper World ), starring Fayruz. She studied singing at the Conservatoire and graduated top of her class from the Higher Institute of Stage Arts in 2000.

Lekaa has appeared in several television shows, including Mohamed Fadel's Al-Aaela Wal Nas (Family and People) ; Al-Attar Wal Sabaa Banat (The Spice Vendor and the Seven Girls) starring Nour El-Sherif; Awraq Masriya (Egyptian Papers) ; Harat Al-Zaafarani (Al-Zaafarani Alley), starring Salah El-Saadani; Hekayat Zawg Moaser (Tales of a Modern Husband), starring Ashraf Abdel-Baqi; Yahya Al-Adl (Long Live Justice), starring Mustafa Fahmi; Sayf Al-Yaqin (Sword of Certainty), a history drama starring Youssef Shaaban; and Nasr Al-Samaa (Victory of Heaven), starring Samiha Ayoub.
On stage she had leading roles against some of our elite actors including Nour El-Sherif, Hussein Fahmi and Ezzat El-Alayli. Wary of being typecast, she played a bad girl in Yahya Al-Adl, a peasant in Hekayat Al-Medandesh (Tales of a Dandy), a southern Egypt girl in Imraah Men Al-Saeed Al-Gowwani (A Woman from the Far South), and the streetwise girl in Al-Harafish (The Hoodlums).

لقاء بدأت التمثيل منذ أن كانت طفلة في مسلسل "هو وهي " مع الراحل احمد زكي والراحلة سعاد حسني , بعدها عملت في مجموعة من المسلسلات الخاصة بالأطفال
درست الغناء والعزف على البيانو والكونترباص فى معهد الكونسير فتوار وبعد حصولها على الثانوية العامة منه
التحقت بمعهد الفنون المسرحية لتثقل موهبتها بالدراسه وتخرجت منه عام 2000 بتقدير جيد جدا وكانت الاولى على دفعتها; ثم اكملت بعمل دراسات عليا فى الموسيقى وهى عضوة بفرقة المسرح القومى .
وقد قامت بالبطولة الغنائية فى اوبريت مصر ارادة ونصر فى الاحتفال باعياد 6 اكتوبر مع ايهاب توفيق وتامر حسنى وعلى الحجار.
ثم توالت الاعمال التليفزيونية واختارها بعدها محمد فاضل للعمل معه في مسلسل «العائلة والناس» وبعده علاء كامل بمسلسل «العذراء والفراء» بطولة جمال عبد الناصر والراحل عبد الله محمود. و مسلسل « العطار والسبع بنات» و مسلسل يوميات زوج معاصر و مسلسل «السيرة العاشورية» و مسلسل «نصر الله» ومسلسل «القرار» و مسلسل «امرأة من الصعيد الجواني» و«لا أحد ينام في الإسكندرية» و«حارة الزعفراني» و قد شاركت في مسلسل علي مبارك ويعد من الأعمال التاريخية
و ايضا شاركت في بطوله العديد من الاعمال المسرحية ومنها اهلا يا بكوات مع اكبر النجوم حسين فهمى وعزت العلايلى علي خشبه المسرح القومى; ومع الفنان نور الشريف فى لن تسقط القدس; وامام الفنان احمد ماهر فى عنترة ابن شداد و أدى البيضة; و مع على الحجار فى حسن ونعيمة وشاركت فى مسرحية رجل القلعة وهي مسرحية غنائية عن فلسطين ونالت جائزة التمثيل الاولى فى مهرجان الاردن المسرحى عام 2006.
واخيرا زكي في الوزاره امام حسين فهمى.
كما شاركت بدورها في الفيلم السينمائي "خليك في حالك" الذي يعد أول تجاربها السينمائية مع الكوميديان احمد عيد. .
