Pancho-san is a band from San Francisco-Oakland-Berkeley.
It began as the home-recording project of Patrick Abernethy (formerly of the bands Beulah, and Rogue Wave) while he was in between tours. Mostly recorded on an 8-track cassette recorder, the songs were later brought into various recording studios, where lots of guests helped add the finishing touches- folks from bands like Beulah, Rogue Wave, Port O'Brien, Grand Lake, Golden Gram, and Sonya Cotton.

In 2010, the band self-released it's first album titled "Oh, Mellow Melody". With Eli Crews (Beulah), and Pat Spurgeon (Rogue Wave) completing the line-up, Pancho-san commenced with their first U.S. tour in 2010, and they have more touring and recording planned for 2011.
