Once upon a time in a small town, Milford, CT by the ocean four boys came together to do something they loved since growing up, playing music together. Russ, Aj, Ant, and Bill are these four boys and Saturday Matinee is their band. October 2004 the band had finished recording their debut CD entitled, Rated (L)onesome. Six songs made up the E.P. and they sold well over three hundred copies on their own. Independently releasing the CD, they played venues all over CT to promote the CD. These included Toads Place (New Haven), The Webster Theater (Hartford), and various teen centers. In February the boys were ready to venture out of state and bring their music to new fans. Going to NJ, NH, MA, and NY were just a few of the states the Sat Mat boys covered. After a year of playing the time had come to record a new CD that would define what their sound had turned into over time. They choose to travel out of state to cut the CD. Killingworths studios in Babylon, Long Island, was where they worked with a producer to clean up their songs and make them more powerful. Six brand new songs that make the band sound better than ever, they are ready to attack the country by storm with their second CD.
