Absent Minds
There is more than one artist named Absent Minds. This Bio refers to the Punk Rock band from Portland, Oregon. Absent Minds consists of Joel Hixon on guitar, Davey Death Ray on Bass, DJ Woods on Drums, and Isaac Hayden on Cello. The band formed in 2007 as an acoustic folk punk band but quickly evolved into an electric cello wielding party in a minivan. In 2010 the band self released the EmergencEP to positive reviews.     Hi Hi,The Band Bios and Tags are awesome and are a huge step forward in the coolness and usefulness of this site.. They are also, on occasion, the source of some WTF?! confusion:"Why is my show tagged 'dubstep'?. I'm not dubtep or reggae!""The listing for my band shows the wrong bio - what's up?"Let it be known that we don't actually host any of the band bios or tags at this moment in time.. All of the band bios come from user submitted data from Last.Fm.
