LEFT ALONE lead singer Elvis Cortez started writing in 2009 a new LA record while on tour. Problem was the songs were much too different than his Punk/Ska/ band is known for. What you have here is 18 of the 30 written during that time. This album was recorded while on tour in the U.S Canada and Europe in a tour bus, van, backstage room or any place that was quiet enough where he could set up his Laptop and 1 mic using Garage Band. The stripped down songs have a raw and powerful sound even though drums were replaced by knee slapping and his acoustic guitar was the main instrument on all tracks. The Album has guest appearances by 13 Dead End Drive Leader Elvin Victoriano and Chris Merlin of The Triggers/ Chencha Berrinches. A cover song has made it on the album originally by Old 97's Rhett Miller the track is "Help Me Suzanne" and a song written for the Cartoon Network animated series Generator Rex that was never used. This album showcases Elvis’s strong songwriting ability and his unique story telling ways.
