Fake Lake
Alex Valentine and Keelin Mayer started Fake Lake in Chicago in 2006 in the space known as The Shappe Shoppe where they hosted many shows. Keelin was also a member Portland's Evolutionary Jass Band and Djin Teeth (Fangs) as well as Scalpels of Chicago. They have played with Deer Hunter, Scalpels, Beast Master, DJ Dog Dick, Mayor Daley, Binges, and others. They are influenced by Pharaoh Sanders, Alice Coltrane, Swans, Malaria, Terry Riley, Flower Travellin Band, and Henry Flint. Fake Lake on Last.fm.

ryan remains Anyone looking for an Upright Bass? 3/4 Palatino, used - adjustable bridge w/ some rock and roll "art" on the body. Comes w/ bow, hard case, and Fishman BP100 Pickup - all for $800.
