Former members of Systema Nerviosa, 32 Fingers, Atomic Influx, Bootleg, Our Mother of Sorrow, and at least 15 other bands, The Elected Officials delivers ripping punk rock reminiscent of The Dead Kennedys, Bikini Kill, DOA, and DRI.

Santa Fe, NM drummer Shane Pennington was previous renowned for his work with Chopper Sick Balls and the monumental Sistema Nervioso. The Elected Officials started in 2010. They are a hardcore punk band.
