If you Don't like The Hollowbodys, you probably just don't like Rock n' Roll!
In late 2003, the beginning: Suicide Scandals got together in Medford, in a small apartment off of Niantic St. After many shows, conflicts of interests made the band look elsewhere for a line-up. With Stacy on the drums, Kimbo taking over lead vocals with long time friends Silas on lead guitar, vocals and Kyle (Idle Threats) on bass- The Hollowbodys were reborn. Stacy's other band, Blueprint for Disaster left him torn between the two projects, with little or no time to himself and wishing to focus more on Blueprint. Who would drum for the Hollowbodys? What was to happen? In January of 2006, Chad moved to town from Corvallis, gratefully replacing Stacy as the new drummer. The Hollowbodys played many a show with this line-up, and even completed their first full-length recording, Heartache and Revolution, recorded at The Complex. In April of 2007, Chad left the band, and Stacy filled in on the drum kit once again. In July of 2007 they met their match for the sort-of empty spot: Justin Miller. A long time friend of Silas's, and now ours. He is now their permanent, full time drummer. After their first practice he committed himself to shows, upcoming tour, and whatever is thrown his way. The Hollowbodys are ready to begin this new journey of creating new material, ready to play shows. We couldn't be happier! Please welcome Justin as we did. We are ready to rock and roll! With our fist raised, and our hearts full. We hope to see you soon!
