Andrew Bryant is an American singer-songwriter from from Oxford, Mississippi. As well as solo work, he is a founding member of the band Water Liars.
After the birth of his son in February 2008, Bryant took the summer off and grew a vegetable garden. After the harvest, Bryant wrote and recorded ten new songs for an album during the first week of August 2008. Because of his rough and basic recording style, Bryant only thought of the recordings as the basis for a future album. He planned to record the album in a studio at a later date. However, it was not until March of 2009 that he decided to finish up the album by only re-recording drums and a few guitar parts in his home. After the recording and mixing were complete, he mailed the album to be mastered by TW Walsh (Pedro the Lion, Headphones, The Soft Drugs). The album, titled "Galilee", blends traditional elements typically found in folk, rock and blues songs. The album was re-released in 2016.
He released "This Is The Life" in 2015.
