Andy Akiho (1978) is an American musician and composer of contemporary classical music. A virtuoso percussionist based in New York City, his primary performance instrument is steel pans.
His compositions have been performed by the New York Philharmonic, the L.A. Philharmonic, Bang On a Can, American Composers Forum, and The Society for New Music. Akiho’s compositions have also been performed in major venues such as Walt Disney Concert Hall, Symphony Space
