In June 2023, De Augustine released his fourth solo album, "Toil and Trouble".
"Toil and Trouble" is a culmination of three years of work that explores themes of alienation, hope, and the search for meaning. De Augustine used a variety of instruments to create a unique and complex sound for the album, which draws inspiration from his own experiences as well as fictional characters and historical events. Recording the album took an emotional toll on him, but despite the challenges, the album is ultimately about finding beauty in a difficult world.
