Gervais, Oregons Anopechi originally formed some time in 2004 when previous band members of Ohayo decided to re-unite with a different name and style. With Alex Preciado playing guitar and singing, Isaiah Jones on the drums, and Aron Santos on bass, they added Jesse Roberson for a second guitar to make a four piece. Shortly there after some demos were made followed by an 8 song EP that was to be called "Radio News EP" but was never released. After playing a short spell of shows, it became evident to Preciado and Santos that it was time to find new people to play with in order to sustain musical growth as a band.
in late 2005 Santos took a leave of absence and Preciado began a collab recording project with long time friend Dustin Brown. They released some demos on Myspace within a couple months, which would later become "People in Places, People With Noses"
With the growing urge to play shows, Brown and Preciado began writing a set of songs the two of them could play live. This group of songs was released in late 2007 as "Killing a Snake in a Dream EP" which consisted of 6 songs including " Water" a fan favorite.
With a slowly growing fan base they set to work again to write a full length album of ten songs, set to release in early 2010 on All Hollow Mass records. They have added added Aron Santos back into the mix and are planning to tour together in support of the new album.
