Biological Lovers is the duo of Brian Smith and Hannah Sheets. Brian Smith was born in Carbondale, Illinois and moved to the small Portland, Oregon-suburb named Canby at the age of three. At fourteen he picked up the guitar and began recording at the age of fifteen. Biological Lovers is the duo of Brian Smith and Hannah Sheets. Brian Smith was born in Carbondale, Illinois and moved to the small Portland, Oregon-suburb named Canby at the age of three. At fourteen he picked up the guitar and began recording at the age of fifteen. Since then, he has written and recorded over 425 songs, toured the US west coast five times, been flown to Ecuador and Peru to perform, created an album of more than forty songs each for one of his closest friends as Christmas presents, became president of the Oregon State University Musician’s Guild, and founded his own music festival as well as DIY music collective in Corvallis, Oregon. Brian is also an Eagle Scout and loves to party. His solo music can be found at www.themusicofbriansmith.com. . Hannah Sheets was born in Zumbrota, Minnesota and started to sing and play the piano at the age of three. By the time she was four, she had begun piano lessons and at the age of 11 she started vocal instruction. As a middle schooler, she joined the school band as a percussionist and began singing in a regional honor choir. As a high schooler she studied opera, but after graduation she felt it was time for a change so she stopped taking lessons and moved to Portland, OR. Since then she has been in several bands and is the host of a radio show on KPSU. She is currently playing with Collectanea and Biological Lovers and recently got back from her first west coast tour.
