Tha Profit aim to make music all people can relate to. The foundation of their music is life in general, but their view is definitely from a street perspective. Each has experienced their share of street life and has mastered the art of expressing themselves clearly and uniquely. Both rappers combined have over 20 years of writing/recording experience and it shows in their music. Broad subject matter and consistently developing style places Black Bizness in the elite class of Bay Area rap artists.
Their demographic is broad in many respects. It’s members and supporters span throughout the Bay Area and Northwestern United States and by teaming up with Bay Area rap legend San Quinn, who is presenting their upcoming release Buyin N Sellin, Black Bizness’s fanbase is sure to increase by thousands. To label Black Bizness as a gangster rap group would be an injustice. The group’s politically motivated street style is something the world has yet to hear and is sure to draw fans from many age ranges including the hard to reach adult demographic. Black Bizness’s debut album Shop Open, released independently in 2005, created good momentum for the group to push their way into the Bay Area rap scene. Now the group is setting out to solidify their position amongst a pool of great recording artist.
“Our goal is to provide the listeners with good street music they can be proud of.”
