She graduated with a dual degree from Tufts University and New England Conservatory of Music. She is noted for her songwriting, double bass playing and working in many different genres of music.

She is the 2006 Grand Prize and Lennon Award recipient in The John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Having studied a diverse mix of music, with such artists as Dave Holland, Steve Coleman and Joe Lovano, Bridget's music can be described as honest and unique, her bass playing solid and unselfish.
