BYLD is a Hardcore/Punk band originally based in the Inland Empire/Southern California area. With a sound that draws on playing fast and heavy while mixing in slower and noisy elements, they blend a sound that could fit in equally with a band like Deadguy or Ghostlimb (those aren't comparisons, rather a range of sound).
Members have done time in numerous bands from Southern California in the last 5- years with many of them having played in previous bands together.

However, Burn Your Life Down is different from previous bands and the resulting sound is a reflection.
BYLD released "Demonstration" late in 2010 and made their live debut in October 2010; subsequently only played a few live shows before singer Andrew moved to Washington in early 2011 and bassist, Anthony to Portland.
2011 was spent mostly writing, recording and playing a small handful of shows on the west coast. However, with the addition of a full-time drummer, the band set their sights on 2012. With Anthony now in Washington as well, the band has started the new year with a new release on the horizon "Don't Try" EP on Glory Kid Ltd. (currently available in a limited tape/digital download release with vinyl coming soon), and the band has already played a weekend of shows in California with the goal of trying to play and tour more.
