Everything musical may have been done before, but Buster Blue has found a niche inhabited by their off-kilter creation alone.
The five band members all play multiple instruments from an arsenal that includes banjo, accordion, trombone and chain-links, along with the traditional guitar/bass/drums combo. Instruments are passed around, with some members learning a few they never even knew before.
Making so many pieces work together well is possible partly because band members grew up in the small Nevada town of Gardnerville before coming together in Reno during the summer of 2007.
Buster Blue brings more than music to the stage. They are, after all, performers, and bring theatrics to live sets that match the drama in their songs. If people are willing to pay for a show, they're sure as hell going to put one on that you don't want to miss.
