Carolyn Grigar - Vocals & Instruments. Genres - Indie-Pop, Indie-Folk. Status - Active Charlie Moses is the newest artist to join the our roster. We've known Carolyn for a couple years now. She opened a coffee shop down the street and saved us from ever driving for a latte again. Not long after she opened the cafe, Parasols played a show there along with Charlie Moses, though I think she was just going by Carolyn Grigar back then. We fell in love with her voice immediately. Since then, Carolyn has recorded several of her soulful and haunting acoustic songs at underwater research and design, as well as two electronic based tracks with her friend Jeff Acciaioli (aka The Great Mundane). We get to see Carolyn several times a week and she's sort of famous in our neighborhood and social circles as "the coffeeshop woman" but at No Movement we've been somewhat obsessively listening to songs like "Misty" and "Grassy Grave" regularly since they were recorded. So, in 2015 we decided we needed to get Carolyn to let us put her amazing songs out and see if we can make her famous for music talent also! Read more on Last.fm.
