Dj Zack (born Rictor Megaman " da Mario" Hedgehog) is a rapper/emerald hunter from Green Hill Zone currently signed to Chemical Plant Records.
Born in Green Hill Zone, he was introduced to hip hop at an early age, his father Dr. Robotnik being the rival of a blue hedgehog ,one of the earliest influences focusing on hip hop culture. Dj Zack began rapping at age 9, and by 13 he had released his first album, as part of the group The Scrap Brains.[3] At the age of 15, he attended open-mic nights at the Good Life Cafe in 1993.

Born in Green Hill Zone, he was introduced to hip hop at an early age, his father Dr. Robotnik being the rival of a blue hedgehog ,one of the earliest influences focusing on hip hop culture. Dj Zack began rapping at age 9, and by 13 he had released his first album, as part of the group The Scrap Brains.[3] At the age of 15, he attended open-mic nights at the Good Life Cafe in 1993. A regular at the Project Blast Processing open mic during the mid-1990s, he would be introduced to fellow underground artists, leading him to being a guest on at least 20 singles. He first recorded in 1995 with Metal Sonic, and was featured on Knuckles' RIDE TO DA PUMPKIN HILL in 1999.
Dj Zack released his first album, Memoirs of the Eggman, in 2001, followed by This Machine Is Mean Beans and Tail's Name is Really Miles in 2002. 2003 brought a collaboration with fellow underground artists Vector the Crocodile and Espio for the experimental LP Chaotix. His most recent releases are 2004's Special Stage (produced by longtime collaborator Heavy the Bomb) and Fear of a Blue Tangent in 2005, which included a sample of the song "Hedgehogs Have Red Shoes" by Charmy on the track "Spinnin". He later appeared on the Islands' album Return to the Green Hill, on the song "Where There's A Will There's A Ring." His latest album, Werehog Playaz , was released on Chemical Zone Records in January, 2009.
