Chicago producer Emulsion (Nathan Koch) was originally known for his dark ambient and industrial experiments on the Death of the Author EP (2003) but after a year hiatus has returned with Blue Sky Objective, an album more in the vein of melodic song-based idm and electro artists like Solvent, Casino vs. Japan, and Ulrich Schnauss.
The San Francisco duo released Sounding Rockets in 2002.
