Entresol is an electronic disco pop trio from Miami, Florida. Members Sergio Madriz, Camilo Velez and Eduardo Rivadeneira hail from across the South American continent, representing Ecuador, Venezuela and Colombia. Soon after relocating to the states in the early 2000s, the three friends met and promptly immersed themselves in the music that would eventually become their passion and profession. Soon after high school they started a band called New Grenades with fellow musician Daniel Obregon. It garnered local approval for their Latin influenced progressive rock and stand-out live performances. The dissolution of New Grenades pushed Edi in a different direction with his new project Entresol- a humble home-recorded ambient endeavor with guest contributions from Camilo. Eventually Entresol evolved toward a dance beat influenced by the nu-disco movement. As a solo act, Edi found himself opening for national acts such as Phantogram and Jessica 6, quickly building a local fan base and eventually being recognized as “Miami's Best New Electronic Artist” by the Miami New Times.
In April of 2011, Entresol released his first EP of his single Formal Matter with remixes by South Florida natives Kabuki Iron Kolors, Danny Daze, Hydroplane and Air Zaire.
With the success of Formal Matter, Edi called upon his friends and former band mates Camilo and Sergio to join the Entresol project. Now as a three piece live band, Entresol boasts an energetic live performance that leaves the audience dancing and hungry for more.
Entresol is currently working on a second remix EP for their second single Endless Urbia featuring a new cast of guest remixers. A full length is also set to be released by 2012 under the Nightdrive Miami label.
