Fight the Quiet is an American rock band formed in Flagstaff Az, a historic stop on Route 66. On March 2nd, 2010 the band independently released their first nationally acclaimed EP, Let Me In. Thanks to their highly marketable sound, Fight the Quiet has been able to secure song placements on various TV shows such as MTV’s Real World and VH1’s Sonic Ranch. Following the release of their single Won’t Let Go, Fight the Quiet was named FUSE TV’s Unsigned Artist of the month and Clear Channel’s Artist to Watch alongside radio favorites Mumford and Son’s and Neon Trees.
From Chicago to LA, Seattle to NYC and way more than two thousand miles; the band traveled and performed building a passionate fan base all across the United States. Fight the Quiet played 250 shows in support of Let Me In, and graduated from dive bars to venues that host mainstream contenders such as Theory of a Deadman, Built to Spill and Young The Giant.
The band is back home in Flagstaff working on a full length follow up to Let Me In, with a release anticipated for late 2012. To hold fans over, the band is giving away an EP entitled Dark Sky Sessions. This EP will be available in March 2012, two years after it all started with Let Me In.
And this I would fight for: the freedom of the mind to take any direction it wishes, undirected.
