The Fire Demons were summoned by a collective joy of heavy rock! What began as a trio has now melted down into a duo of guitar and drum fury. Punk, metal, thrash, hardcore, sludge, stoner, and psych are some adjectives that might come to mind when listening to the music. Writing duties and lead vocals are shared by the duo, who also share an interest in social commentary with a comic or cynical slant. These two are working family men and many of the songs are about matters of wives, children, bosses, and other hard realities.

The Fire Demons were summoned by a collective joy of heavy rock! What began as a trio has now melted down into a duo of guitar and drum fury. Punk, metal, thrash, hardcore, sludge, stoner, and psych are some adjectives that might come to mind when listening to the music. Writing duties and lead vocals are shared by the duo, who also share an interest in social commentary with a comic or cynical slant. These two are working family men and many of the songs are about matters of wives, children, bosses, and other hard realities. Living in the small community of Humboldt County on California's north coast has it's effect, and the Fire Demons are not too serious about much except rocking hard. Their live shows have recieved many positive reviews in the press and their high energy performances (complete with enough amplification to power a full band) continue to win them new fans of all ages.
Jeff Langdon is probably best known for his guitar and vocal work with the well-known Humboldt heavies, The Hitch. Jeff's solid-state guitar work is featured in a local project known as Grout which existed in the mid 90's. His Leftoverking home studio projects display his many talents as a musician and in the studio, and at one point Jeff was making guitars. Jeff currently plays drums with Henpecker and The Fire Demons.
Robert Tripp has been involved in some of the more experimental music from within the Emerald Triangle. A founder of world noise hacks, The Hearth Band aka The Elementals, and electro rock alien chasers, Vryl Society. An exceptional slide player and songwriter, Robert also performs his original blues rock with The Hard Ride.
Walt Graves has been playing in bands since the late 60's. In addition to his North Coast exploits in The Buddy Reed Blues Band, Blue Street, and Black Cat Bone he has also been involved with various rock and metal bands from the Sacramento area. Walt was involved with the Fire Demons since the beginning and now makes occasional appearances.
