Melding the own melting pot Blues of America with Skate-Punk influences like NOFX and newer Rockabilly acts such as The Reverand Horton Heat, The F-Holes are one of a few punk rock bands still able to claim "unique" in their description. Asking a Flagstaff local what type of music they play can yield "Bluesy Punk" all the way to "Roackabilly Surf Sludge" back to "Punk Rock". Their unique style combined with constant touring, bookings, and practice means this band usually sounds better live than on their last recordings- a testament to their commitment for one another, for music, and as a band. Dueling out both guitar and vocals, Jeremy Brougher bring the music theory behind guitar to life, while the multi-talented Chris Shelton plays the stand-up bass and sings as well. Rounding out the trio is Paulie Coochyamptewa, a drummer usually playing no less than three different bands in addition to his full-time gig as the F-Hole's drummer. Voted as either "Best Band" or "Best Show for A Workout" by Flagstaff magazines every year, the F-Holes are a staple of the Flagstaff punk music scene.
