There are at least four artists known as Giant Steps:
(1) A dance pop duo from England consisting of vocalist Colin "Col" Campsie and bassist/keyboardist George McFarlane, the duo previously released material under the name The Quick. Giant Steps recorded one album, "Book of Pride." The first single, "Another Lover," peaked at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 in November 1988 and was used in the opening of the 1989 movie "Loverboy." Follow-up single "Into You" was a modest success, peaking at #58 in March 1989.

(2) Formed in the early part of 2010, Giant Steps are a four-piece Soul Rock band from London, UK. Originally known as Beggars, they decided to begin a new project after replacing a leaving member. In the summer of 2010, Giant Steps completed the recording of five tracks with producer Mike Crossey and were later selected to perform on the Jo Whiley New Music Tour in the UK.
(3) A ska/reggae band from Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, who played in the '90s. They released two full-length albums, "Technicolor" in 1995 and "Feel the Thunder" in 1997, as well as a self-titled EP on their own label Skaliente. Members have gone on to form The Blue Hornets and Checkered Beat. They still perform occasional reunion shows in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
(4) Slovak experimental rock band from Bratislava. They released their first demo "Wasted EP" in 2008, followed by "In the Harbour EP" in 2009.
