Glom is the indie-rock project led by Brooklyn-based musician Sean Dunnevant. Originally formed by friends from the Washington, D.C. area, the group developed from longtime musical collaborations among Dunnevant, Jonathan Crandall, Peter Beiser, and Sahil Ansari. After college took the members to different parts of the country, Dunnevant and Beiser began writing original music together in 2014; the project later expanded into Glom and relocated to Brooklyn.
Glom’s sound draws from ’90s alternative and indie rock, shoegaze, late-’80s post-punk, and new wave, while also incorporating the melodic sensibilities of ’60s rock. Glom released its debut album, *Bond*, in 2019, followed by *Merit* in 2020. The project has toured extensively, including opening for Bloc Party and Dashboard Confessional, and has shared bills with Drook, Tommy Oeffling, and Will Paquin.
In 2024, Dunnevant released “Glass,” marking the beginning of a new era in which Glom became his solo project. The song preceded the 2026 album *Below*, released through Nettwerk Music. Dunnevant currently writes, records, and performs as Glom, continuing the project’s evolution from a collaborative band into a more personal, solo-led endeavor.
