Goodbye Nautilus are an indie rock band formed in the creative waters of San Francisco in late 2007. Taking huge nod of influence from current raw indie acts such as Dr. Dog, Jay Reatard and The Teeth along with classic artists such as Elvis Costello, The Cure and The Kinks, they fuse their talents to create diverse guitar-driven garage rock music that falls across a wide spectrum of indie rock styles.
In the early days this band was a power trio with a strong core akin to bands like fIREHOSE, in 2009 they expanded to a 5-piece with the addition of a synth/piano and new drummer for a much bigger sound. They released a set of Demos called the "Roar EP" in early 2008. In August 2009 they released a new 5-song EP known affectionately as the "Recycled" EP. This EP gained acclaim for it's diverse sound. Coming in Late 2009 a Full-length studio album mixed by Ian Pellicci (Deerhoof/Rogue Wave, Wooden Wand) should be complete and set to release.
