Grand Lake's LP 'Blood Sea Dream' (HAD Records) charted in the top 200 on CMJ and garnered mixed reviews from numerous and sometimes snotty music blogs.
The band toured the United States in the fall of 2010. The tour was cancelled after two weeks due to financial difficulties and poor ticket sales.
After the release of 2011's 'Leaves Ellipse' the band went on indefinite hiatus.
Members of Grand Lake are currently pursuing other projects; Swanagon performs in Zach Rogue's Release the Sunbird project and releases and performs music for solo guitar. Caleb Nichols formed a new group called Churches with Rogue Wave drummer Pat Spurgeon. Drummer John Pomeroy performs infrequently as 'The Cerfs'.
