There art at least two artists known as "Highlands:" 1. A psychedelic shoegaze group from Long Beach, CA, Highlands consists of Scott Holmes, Chris Figlewicz, Stephen Edmunds, and Beau Balek. In 2012, they released their first album, "Singularity; and on July 15, the quartet released their their sophomore album, 'Dark Matter Traveler.'
