In Lights is the name of several bands:
1. In Lights, a post-hardcore/pop-punk/alternative rock band started in the towns of Uxbridge/Pickering, Canada originally known as Alisyn formed in late 2006 with members Nick Dooley on vocals, Gavin Sutton and Joel Savoie on guitars, Derek Wells on drums and shortly after Andrew Brunette on bass.
Soon after they recorded a demo song a local studio in Pickering, the band wasn’t happy with the results and shortly after drummer Derek Wells left the band and was quickly replaced by a friend of the band; Shane Rideout. The band decided a name change was needed so the band changed the band name to Vegas for a short time then finally settled on In Lights as the name we were going to stay with.
They practiced hard, but Shane lost interest in playing drums for the band and was replaced by a friend of a friend; Jon Foster for a short while then another friend of a friend; Mike Robinson. At the same time as Mike joined the band Joel left the band and Shane Rideout was again added to the band but this time on guitar. Shane and Mike quickly picked up the songs and the band started moving forward picking up a few shows along the way. After the first show at Dunbarton High School, Nick and the band parted ways.
In the weeks following they tired out a few new singers and finally arrived at Dylan French who was quickly added to the band mere days before their second show at EP Taylors. Dylan scrambled to learn the songs before the show and did so quite well. The band got a lot of positive feedback from the show and decided record. Shane found a great studio in Guelph, Ontario and the band recorded two songs with David Hennig at Sundown Studio.
This group of guys are more then just a band, they’ve become great friends and not only have fun playing music but just hanging out as friends. Each member of In Lights brings something to the band and the sound.
This hasn't been updated since 2007 so someone can help me out here, but the band released an ep in 2008 titled Constellations. The most recent addition to the band was again on drums. Tyler Jones currently plays the drums for In Lights and has since 2009 (someone may correct me on that) but since then they have played a slot on the vans warped tour 09 on the ernie ball stage and released another ep titled the river court ep. The band has been touring as much as they can while trying to keep an eye on school, they have played shows with the likes of from first to last and scary kids scaring kids.
With inspired hearts and a now permanent line up, Dylan French (Vocals), Gavin Sutton (Guitar Vocals), Nick Dooley (Guitar), Andrew Brunette (Bass) and Tyler Jones (Drums) headed back to the studio to record their most ambitious songs yet that would soon become “The River Court” EP.
The 4 songs on The River Court EP set all the cards on the table. “We’re the king of hearts, the jesters ex-lover with talent under cover,” French sings passionately on the track “The Debut” about straying from the scenic route of rock stardom, diving in head first without looking back. But it’s not all business. When it comes to the poppy sing along chorus you can see they still have a lot of fun, even at the expense of themselves. “We sing because were not very good at much anything else.” The second track shows a more mature side, both musically and lyrically as they talk about past regrets, hopeful romances and a few sweet metaphors regarding water. The buddy track “Ace and Jocelyn”, with a polite nod towards college humors Jake and Amir, tells a tale of best friends and life in the small suburban city in which they live. This track dares you to think of “North East South West” without singing this catchy tune the rest of the day. That’s right, you can’t. The closing song is a re-done ‘acoustic’ version ‘Consider The Following’ The song goes where no In Lights song has gone before. Haunting strings line the pre chorus lines ‘Consider this, the last thoughts I’ll ever think of you…’ while synth and piano replace the lead parts of the song, making the song, in the end, an eerie yet beautiful masterpiece. “The River Court EP” is now available to download free!

2. In Lights was a pop-punk band formed in april 2015. It consists of citizens of 3 different countries including USA, Russia and Kazakhstan.
Band has released their debut EP "Running With Scissors" on the 1 of July, 2016 and now is in the studio working on their debut longpaly.
Band members:
Ilya Turov - Guitar (Kazakhstan - Almaty)
Alexander Ket - Drums (Russia - St. Petersburg)
Tanner Mayday - Vocals (Cincinnati, Ohio, USA)
Isaac Oru - Guitar (Cincinnati, Ohio, USA)
The In Lights band was formed in April 2015, when Ilya, on the ruins of his previous band, was looking for a vocalist for a new project. Having found Tanner's covers on YouTube, he was amazed by his vocals and wrote to him on Facebook and sent him demo versions of the songs. This moment can be considered the starting point in the history of the band.
Together they recorded their debut EP - Running With Scissors.
The next step was Guitarist Isaac - Tanner's best friend, who joined the band in February 2016.
Due to some problems, the EP release was postponed until July 1, when it was released.
The band needed a drummer, and then Ilya began looking for someone who would fit in perfectly with the group. Having received several recommendations from different people, he contacted Alexander, who in turn became interested in the project, and in a couple of days everything was decided.
Together, with the updated line-up, they wrote a debut full-length album, and this winter they will go to the studio to record.
