Multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Janina Angel Bath has been playing music since early childhood, beginning with the piano and keyboard. She studied Native American Flute with Stephanie Baldridge and was a member of the Cascadia Flute Circle while living in Oregon. Additionally, she participated in a workshop with world-renowned Native American flute player Mary Youngblood. Janina Angel has also studied North Indian Classical Vocal Music with Sri Karunamayee, Joan Allekotte, Michael Stirling and Terry Riley.

Additionally, she participated in a workshop with world-renowned Native American flute player Mary Youngblood. Janina Angel has also studied North Indian Classical Vocal Music with Sri Karunamayee, Joan Allekotte, Michael Stirling and Terry Riley. Her teachers are all the disciples/students of Raga Master Pandit Pran Nath of the Kirana Gharana.
Janina Angel Bath has been a member or collaborator with such varied projects as avant-electro outfit SOFT SERVE, hip hop/ soul/ girl group VA LOTUS, psych rock band ETERNAL TAPESTRY, an experimental noise project with Rock and Roll Jackie & Ju Suk Reet Meate (from SMEGMA), a side project with Ashley Peace Falcon of Purple Rhinestone Eagle, as well as a myriad of solo performances. She has recently been focusing on her own mystical psychedelic group, which features a rotating platform of guest musicians and visual collaborators. A continually exploring soul, Janina Angel Bath just finished an album of solo material aptly entitled, ‘Gypsy Woman’.
