I am passionate about creating music that contributes to our collective awareness and wellbeing.
Singing from an early age in churches gave me a profound experience of the power of voice. At the age of 15, I experienced a strong calling to use my voice as an instrument of healing and to support others on that journey.
My grandmother was deaf, so I grew up with a sensitivity to those with different abilities and have worked since I was a teenager with children and adults with special needs.

I became fascinated with the relationship between performance and ritual whilst studying Literature and Theatre Studies at University and explored the relationship between personal development and creativity at the Institute of Creativity.
During a period of global travel, I began training as a holistic therapist and have been honoured to work alongside many extraordinary pracititioners some of whom can be found listed on the Friends page. I am a fully trained and insured holistic therapist with qualifications in Massage, Reflexology and Reiki.
As a singer, I have explored the power of intentional sounding within spiritual practices such as Kabbalah, Hindu/Vedic Mantra, Gospel Singing, Christian Liturgy, Sufi Zikr, Pagan & Celtic Chant, Traditional Folk Music and Yoga techniques. These experiences and the responses I witness in others around me have inspired me to release albums of medicinal music.
Shocked to the core by the damage to our beautiful planet, each of these albums is dedicated to the healing of the elements that make up our existence, The Singing Tree (2009) to the Trees, Shiva's Rain (2011) to Water. I am currently working with Sing for Water and WaterAid to raise awareness about water issues.
I have performed and facilitated groups involving sound at festivals, yoga centres, schools across the UK and Internationally.
I work with a mystic understanding that all creative and spiritual practices are maps of a terrain which ultimately remains beyond description, that they are branches of the same tree. I believe that music has a key role to play in promoting tolerance within our communities as it liberates the possibility of communication across every known border of experience.
My vision is to create an inter-disciplinary arts and therapy centre which is open and inclusive of all.
