Canadian funnyman and former member of the sketch comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall, Kevin McDonald was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He now resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In the 90's Kevin had a band called Accidentally Cool. Paul Bellini (recall Touch Paul Bellini Contest from The Kids in the Hall) was also a part of Kevin's band. Kevin himself played guitar and did the vocals for covers of songs the band would perform. Suburban Cliques was the only self-written song the band released.

Kevin has acted in many major movie productions and has provided the voice for several characters in animated features, the most popular being Pleakley from Disney's Lilo & Stitch. He often collaborates on various projects with the other members of The Kids in the Hall who include Mark McKinney, Bruce McCulloch, Scott Thompson, and his long-time friend Dave Foley. Currently, Kevin runs comedy workshops in various cities in which he enlightens the participants on the art of improvising.
