How we became King Friday:
According to Joe Macre, Corey was a music student of mine and when I first heard him play my jaw dropped! I knew then that Corey had to become part of this new project. His guitar playing added a fresh and new element to our sound. There's also an assortment of friends on our debut release “Let the Song Begin”. We just had to have them play on the record, such as. Oliver Wakeman, Andy Timmons , Jimmy Griffiths, Bruce Buehlman and Carl Roa.
Special Guests:
Oliver Wakemen:
We've been working with Oliver for about a year and a half. Oliver is a great player, and wonderful collaborator. He has brought elements to the record with his signature background. Oliver is well known for his recent tenure with Yes as well as a well respected Solo artist.
Jimmy Griffiths:
Jimmy has recorded a classic 12 string introduction to the album this will be Jimmy's first studio appearance since CTS three. Bruce Buehlman recorded Jim at Fox Studios in LA, where Jim is a flight instructor.
Andy Timmons:
Andy is a legendary guitarist know for his work with Danger Danger. I'm proud to say he is a friend. He was excited to play on the record, and was so very smooth. Andy has been working with Olivia Newton John as music director.
Carl Roa:
Carl is our original guitarist is back, and playing on a few songs. Carl is just amazing. We love Carl as a player and band mate.
Carey Zigler:
Carey is a Baltimore bassist, and friend who is sharing the bass with me on "Fly Away".
Rick Witkowski and Bobby Hird:
Rick and Bobby from Crack The Sky are also guests on “Let the Song Begin”. Ricky played funk guitar on Take a Walk, and Rocked on Still the World. Bobby played the solo on Anything Goes.
Terry Minogue:
Terry created string arrangements on early Crack the Sky records. Was asked Terry if he wanted to add something to the record. Well, he couldn't wait after being away for so many years. He created a signature string part for Let the Song Begin.
Other special guests include:
B. E. Taylor, Anthony Rankin, Chic DiCiccio, Don Schloss, Ashton Hart, Zach Davis
