2. Ludo was a post-hardcore band from Quesnel, Canada. Their only album called "For Loss Of Senses" was released in late 2003.
Their Myspace bio from 2004:
"Forming in late November, 2002 in their hometown of Quesnel, British Columbia, Canada. The group consists of: Alex Nome (Vocals), Travis Hein (Guitar, Vocals), Brandon Scott (Guitar, Vocals), Kellen Hein (Percussion), and Cam Jones (Bass Guitar). Ludo came together during high school which brings a striking sincerity to the angst ridden lyrics that are prevalent in the bands debut release.
For Loss of Senses was recorded in the spring of 2003 at Flying Monkey Studios in Kelowna, BC. The nine songs that make up the release were recorded and mixed in under ten days. The album was recorded by Travis Saunders.
Ludo's post-hardcore sound shows immediate evidence of a broad range of musical influences including: Iron Maiden, Moneen, Grade, Pantara, Jimmy Eat World, killswitch Engage,Anberlin and Thrice. Guitar riffs are finger tapped and intertwined through long instrumental segments. Elements of pop music show through layers of hard-core in the majority of Ludo's music.
The band has already taken a spot as one of BC's more respected up and coming acts. With a loyal fan base growing and growing, Ludo can already draw crowds of hundreds in many communities. The summer will see Ludo taking to the road withThe Morning After. The band is already well into the writing process for their yet to be titled sophomore effort."
