Machine Gun Vendetta was formed in January 2004 in the desert city of Reno, Nevada. Through their devastating drum rolls, punchy elaborate bass lines, shredding guitar work, and intoxicating vocals, these punks from the biggest little city scream out their distaste for anything and everything unjust from corrupt religious views and evil politicians to deceitful multinational corporations and the falsely imprisoned. In their 8- years of existence, MGV has shared the stage with bands like Dead Kennedys, The Casualties, Guttermouth, Krum Bums, The Freeze, Dr. Know, MDC, The Adicts, UK Subs,Cobra Skulls and hundreds more. Influences are of a 90's street-punk sound, like blending some of The Unseen with Minor Threat and adding a blast of RKL. There's also some melody going on. MGV continues to be completely D.I.Y. , self producing their own merch and also their debut full length album PROBLEMATIC WEAPON. They continue to tour, most recently finishing a one month tour back in August 2011 where they covered nearly all the west and southwest, from California to Texas.
