In 2000 Madeline began performing her songs in Athens, Georgia at the age of 15. Over the next couple of years, Madeline worked on a full length album and fronted the locally successful psychedelic pop band, The Sugar Shakers. In 2002 Madeline self-released her album Kissing & Dancing. In 2003 the record was re-released by Plan-It-X records. That year, Madeline went on her first big tour, accompanied by Zumm Zumm. 2003 also saw the release of a split EP with The Dead Bird (on Plan-It-X) and a 7" single on Hillbilly Stew Records.

Most Recently, Madeline recorded a full length album with Matthew Houck (Phosphorescent) in the winter of 2006. Valiant Death released the LP, and the CD will be released January 2007 on Orange Twin Records. The rest of 2006 and much of 2007 will be spent touring the nation.
