The band has sold several million albums worldwide and has received four Juno Awards and ten MuchMusic Video Awards, tying with Billy Talent for the most awards received by a band at that ceremony. Nineteen of their singles have reached the top ten on at least one Canadian singles chart, including the national Singles Chart, the Rock Chart, and the Alternative Rock Chart. Between 1996 and 2016, Our Lady Peace were the third best-selling Canadian band and the ninth best-selling Canadian recording artist overall in Canada.
Our Lady Peace have released ten studio albums, one live album, and two compilation albums. Their debut album "Naveed" (1994) was certified quadruple platinum in Canada. It included the single "Starseed", which reached the top ten on both the US Mainstream Rock and Alternative Airplay charts, and the title track "Naveed", which reached number four on the Canadian Alternative Rock Chart. Their second album "Clumsy" (1997) reached number one in Canada and was certified diamond in that country. The album included the singles "Clumsy", which reached number one on the Canadian Singles Chart, and "Superman's Dead", which reached number two on the Canadian Alternative Rock Chart. "Clumsy" was also certified platinum in the United States, with the title track reaching number five on the US Alternative Airplay chart. The band’s third album "Happiness... Is Not a Fish That You Can Catch" (1999) also reached number one in Canada and was certified triple platinum there. Its singles "One Man Army" and "Is Anybody Home?" reached numbers one and two on the Canadian Alternative Rock Chart, respectively.
The band’s fifth studio album "Gravity" (2002) marked a stylistic change from their earlier recordings. The album reached number two in Canada and became their fifth consecutive double platinum release in that country. Its singles "Somewhere Out There" and "Innocent" reached numbers one and two on the Canadian Singles Chart, respectively. "Gravity" was also their highest-charting album in the United States, reaching number nine on the Billboard 200. The single "Somewhere Out There" peaked at number 26 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and reached number seven on the US Alternative Airplay chart. Their 2005 album "Healthy in Paranoid Times" also reached number two in Canada and was certified platinum.
Between 2009 and 2018 the band released three additional studio albums that achieved more modest commercial results. In 2021 they released "Spiritual Machines 2", a follow-up to their earlier album "Spiritual Machines".
